This Tournament began in 2013 to celebrate the life of our good friend Robin Svoboda, who lost his battle with cancer in January of 2013. Dr. Lovelife, his “DJ” nickname on the radio, cared deeply about his family and friends. He loved life and played hard and knew how to have fun. When he wasn’t spending time with the love of his life, Kim, and their beautiful girls, he could often be spotted on the ski hill, or the golf course, always with a carefree smile on his face.
Robo, who was born and raised in Michigan, loved Utah and all its beauty and recreation, but he especially loved Park City. This event is on his birthday, July 24th, in memory of his life and his love for golf. What a great day to come together and celebrate this “Pioneer” and reminisce about the way Park City used to be, visit with lots of ol’timers, meet new friends and share your stories about Robo.
So please come out and join us! Our first Annual event was a huge success and lots of fun! It’s a great time to see some old friends, party, golf, and visit with Kim, Maddy, and Gabby. Golf check-in is at 12:00 to 12:30, with tee off @ 12:45. Dinner is at 5:30 PM MST. If you can’t golf, but want to come for dinner, join us for the dinner only option. There will be prizes and giveaways, silent auctions, raffles, lots of fun, and fireworks in the Heber Valley at dusk.
